Sub Cue
How to find the subscriptions you forgot you're paying for
8 October 2026

Most of us know roughly what we pay for Netflix. Far fewer of us could list every subscription we're paying for right now, with the date each one renews. That gap is where money quietly leaks: the free trial that rolled into a paid plan, the app you tried once, the annual renewal you forgot about for eleven months.
Here's a simple way to find them all, in about twenty minutes.
1. Start with the app stores
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions. Both lists show what's active and when it renews. Free trials appear here too, which is exactly where forgotten charges begin.
2. Scan twelve months of statements
Not every subscription goes through an app store. Look back over a full year of card and bank statements, not just last month, so annual renewals show up. Search for amounts that repeat, and for names you don't immediately recognise.
3. Write them all down in one place
A list scattered across two app stores and three bank accounts is not a list. Put every subscription somewhere you'll actually look: the name, the price, how often it bills, and the next due date.

4. Keep, pause or cancel
Go down the list and ask one question of each: did I use this last month? Keep the ones you use. Cancel the ones you don't. If you're unsure, set a reminder for just before the next renewal and decide then.
5. Get warned before the next renewal
The real fix is not a one-off clean-up. It's knowing before a charge lands, every time.
That's what Sub Cue is built for. Add each subscription once and Sub Cue keeps them in one list, sorted by what's due next, with a monthly total that brings monthly, quarterly and yearly billing into one number. It reminds you before renewals, so a forgotten trial becomes a decision rather than a surprise. It also has a financial-year view for anyone tracking subscriptions as business expenses.
Sub Cue is free for up to 10 subscriptions. If you need more, you can unlock everything yearly or with a one-time lifetime purchase, so you never have to pay a subscription to track your subscriptions.
